O PAPEL DAS CITOCINAS NA RESISTÊNCIA GENÉTICA ÀS DOENÇAS

Resumo

 Citocinas são moléculas que desempenham papel essencial no desencadeamento da resposta imune e seu estudo reveste-se
de grande importância no intuito da compreensão da imunidade e da resistência a doenças. O presente trabalho compreende uma revisão de características de organização celular e componentes da resposta imune, em especial, as da resposta imune inata, as células e moléculas envolvidas, bem como aspectos dos mecanismos que ligam esses componentes.

Abstract: Cytokines are molecules that play an essential role in triggering the immune response and their study is of great importance in order to understand immunity and disease resistance. The present work comprises a review of characteristics of cell organization and components of the immune response, in particular, the characteristics of the innate immune response, the cells and molecules involved, as well as aspects of the mechanisms that link these components.
